Description: PaleoPebbles: The diminutive sharpnose shark (Rhizoprionodon terraenovae) has tiny teeth, so they are often missed. However, since PaleoPebbles are gathered with a small screen, they are a pretty common find. The teeth can be recognized by the smooth cusp with a concave distal edge, a pronounced notch between the distal edge of the main cusp and the shoulder, and a strong nutrient groove.
