Description: Eocene sand dollar Neolaganum durhami found on a spoil island built from dredging a channel out of the Withlacoochee River near Yankeetown, FL. Notice the pronounced food grooves leading to the peristome (mouth opening) on the oral side of the test, differentiating it from Weisbordella sp.
