One of the classics which an NES freak will know by looking at the green and gold. Battletoads! You are a muscular toad that is set out to kick some @$$. This is simply a game where you can sit down with a friend and just whoop up on enemies. A nice pasttime game, but there is a difficult side to it. This game, in my opinion, isn't exactly easy. Try punching 3 guys at once. They always seems to get you in a beat-down that way. The best way to go is ONE enemy at a time. You may be a toad with shades, but when it comes down to it, you are just a toad!
Maybe I praised this game TOO MUCH. True, it is a classic, but the game itself isn't "one of the best games of all time" in my opinion. I still enjoy playing it, but the game can get frustrating at times. Certainly a much better game to relax with using a game genie. Some games are just better with one. You go from level to level just beating the crap out of everything. Seems like a game that current ones lack. I wish there were a Nintendo 64 game where you walk the streets of some city or different planet just beating down "enemies." There is no need for a story! Just make it a 2 player game thats sole purpose is to kick back and relax by beating up people for no reason. Come on Nintendo! Make Battletoads 64 or Double Dragon 64!!!!
This game will generally cost you between $5-10 complete. This is of course, depending where you get it. If you are bidding on ebay, who knows! These days ebay has been quite a pricy place to buy things. This isn't a rare one, but a pretty good one. Another great addition to your classic NES collection!!!!!!
