Hey! Ever sucker some guy into selling you a copy of Tengen Tetris for $5, or get 100 NES games at a garage sale for $10? Well, if you have, you deserve to brag about it! Send me your brag and I'll post it on my page. The brag doesn't have to be about just NES games. Atari, Coleco, Vectrex, SMS, SNES, Saturn, or any other console brags are welcome. I don't want to deal with a message board at this time. I may have one up later, but as for now, let me and everyone else know about your terrific deals!

Wish it was me!
I had been looking for Nintendo Power issues #1-12 and any Fun Club issues I could find. Finally someone saw my desperate plea on a emulation message board and contacted me saying he'd be willing to sell issues #1-16 and ALL the Nintendo Fun Club issues to me for $14. These NP issues are all out of print and back issues are no longer from Nintendo, and the Fun Club issues are rarer than a purple llama. Quite a deal if you ask me ;-) - SteveX

A brag from Peter Gallant. What the hell are some people thinking when they sell games!??!!?
I was looking thru the video game bin in my local
pawn shop where everything is 3 for 2$, and i found 2 Tengen
Tetrises (Tetrii?) and 3 pirates! One 210 in 1 multicart with 95
different games, 1 SMB2 (lost levels) japanese pirate, and one
Double Dragon 2 famicom pirate in ITS ORIGINAL BOX!!! It has a
FAM2NES converter. I grabbed Menace Beach, paid my 4$ and left! I
also bought a shrinked Dragon Warrior 3 at the same place for

An INCREDIBLE brag from Jonathan Anderle. Everyone please bow down to him.
About a month ago, at a weekly swap meet that I regularly attend, I bought a shrinkwrapped copy of the Caltron 6-in-1 for $5. A few days before I had found a top-loader and decided to start picking up NES games. At the time I was happy to find a multi-cart; it wasn't until later that I found out how nice a find it was.

There is a store called the record exchange that I always go to that sells used cd's and video games. They sell the old NES games usually for between 2.50(low price) and 5.00(high price), but I went in there one day and most of their games were selling for 1.00! I bought- Goonies 2, Tetris 2, Battletoads. Ledgend of zelda, River city ransom, TMNT manhattan project, Gargoyles quest 2, Tiger heli. SMB 2 and 3, Mike tysons punch out!!. and Castlevania for $1.00 each! I also got Mega man 2 for $5.00.

Here's a sweet brag from SWM
Here's my brag: Years ago, when the NES reigned king, Kroger would rent NES games for 50 cents a piece, and they'd rent them to you with the box and the instructions and the poster, but they'd charge you if you didn't return any piece of the game. Me and my dad would frequent there and rent games. One of our favorites was Kickle Cubicle. We'd play it for hours on end trying to reach the next level. =)
Anyway, enough nostalgia. I was totally into Tetris. When Tengen Tetris came out, I didn't have a frigging clue what an unliscenced game was, but I rented it. Did I mention I loved Tetris? Anyway, I rented it. Funny thing was, it never got returned. The next time we went back, we forgot to bring it. Usually, they tell you when you're late for a game return, right? Our account never showed that we had rented Tengen Tetris. Enough time passed, and I wrote it off as one of the games I owned. Now, years later, I look at all the NES news, and I look at how much copies of Tengen Tetris are. A friend said he payed $400 for two copies of Tengen Tetris! Well, I got it for fifty cents. That's not bad, is it?
