Dragon Warrior 3, is yet another great improvement to the series. This series just keeps getting better and better. If you want to start up a Dragon Warrior game, you just have to start from the first one and continue from there. Don't just jump to III or IV without playing the other ones first! If you do this, you won't appreciate the older ones as much. You won't be able to see these great improvements and be able to say,"WOW!"

You wake up on your 16th birthday to find your mother telling you about the big day. Your mother takes you to the King of Alihan on this day. The King tells you of the dreadful archfiend Baramos and your duty of setting out to stop him from destroying the world. Choose your allies well in the beginning. You will embark on a wonderful journey filled with tons of RPG elements, deadly monsters, mysterious caverns, and so much more. This is one of the best NES games out there in my opinion.
Ok, now this type of thing did add a whole new world of weirdness. I mean, just go on down to the store, pick up some party members and a gallon of milk? That is weird how you can get party members, but I adapted pretty quick. This isn't the only Dragon Warrior game that does this. It is just that I had been used to playing games where you acquire party members as you go along. You know, they decide to join up, you don't put them in the shopping cart. Still though, this doesn't affect this games' quality!
Once again, this game will cost you quite a bit for an NES game complete. It is not an especially rare game, but complete it would generally cost you $50-$60. But cmon, I would pay $100 for this game. I even had dreams about it. Actually, when I play a game I really like and get into it, I commonly have dreams about them, but that's another story.....
I give this game
