The first in what now is an extremely popular game series, Final Fantasy is a great RPG. This game provides large world map, tons of weapons, armor, white magic, black magic, and a whole bunch of tasks that must be completed for different people in different lands. This game is one of the great classic NES RPGs.
When you first start, you can choose 3 other party members besides yourself. You have the choice of: Fighter, Red Mage, White Mage, Black Mage, Black Belt, and a Thief. They all have special abilities. The Black Mage is the only one that can learn the Black Magic spell "NUKE." So make sure that's one of the characters you choose! I suggest having a party of 2 Fighters, a White Mage, and a Black Mage Your characters will change at a certain point in the game:
Black Mage => Black WizardOne of the things I do not like about this game is when buying items. You have to buy one at a time and every god damn time the merchant asks you like 3 questions just to get one thing. "What would you like to do? What would you like to buy? 75 gold ok?" So when you need friggin 99 heal potions it's just a pain in the ass. Despite that annoying aspect of the game I found something quite interesting. At one of the towns, there is a graveyard. If you check out a specific one it says,"Here lies the great Erdrick." Hmm...Erdrick.. That's the name of the legendary man in Dragon Warrior!!!! Yea...just thought that that was pretty interesting.
Generally, this game will cost you $20 complete. It's a great addition to your collection!
