A memorable NES racing game that made most all of us wet our beds with excitement each night in anticipation of the next day. How rad are you? Do you think you're badass enough to get through this game? Hah! Like most NES games, this one tries to bury your self esteem and patience six feet under. There's a 99% chance you will get seriously pissed off at this game, which just adds to the kickass feeling you get when you beat it. Most people give up, well fuck em! They're all pussies! Be a man and follow through!

You have a choice between two different types of cars, the 328 Twin Turbo or the F1 Machine. Other than the body of the car, there's really no difference at all in performance or anything; basically the same car with a different shell. However, depending upon which car you pick, the cars you are racing against will look different as well. While you're driving either car, there are a few little options. Once you reach 90 kph, if you push up on the control pad it's like you go into overdrive, accelerating a little bit faster than you normally would. Also, if you push down on the control pad you can play three different types of background music. Lastly, if you push the select button while you're driving the game goes into a 3d mode-or so I think. I tried putting on some 3d glasses I had lying around, but it didn't appear to be in 3d...maybe slightly...nah


OMG! Look at how sweet that snapshot on the right is. I love it when ROMs work the way they're supposed to. What a piece of shit. Oh, and maybe if my Snappy Video Capturer worked I could have shown you what the ending looks like. Then again, my little sister could draw out what it looks like on a piece of toilet paper I whiped my ass with using a dried up magic marker and it would still look better than that Snappy fuckjob! BURN IN HELL PLAY INC!!

After what seemed like forever, I finally beat this game. There are only 8 levels, but if you run out of time on any level, that's it. GAME OVER! Which means you have to start from the very beginning again. On the last level, you can't crash at all pretty much. There just isn't enough time. You are given enough time to get to each checkpoint without crashing. At the end of the game it just says, "Congratulations!" "See you next time" "Square" and you get out of your car. Apparently you had a girl in the car with you the whole damn time. Maybe she was giving you a little encouragement while you raced? If you know what I mean *wink* Then she gets in the car and drives off. When you realize it you're like WTF! That bitch!! and chase after the car. Last, but not least, you get a classic "The End." Damn hard and frustrating game for me at least. Just glad I finally beat the shit out of it.
