Tengen Presents....

Never to be released.....Just to hide away in it's own darkness.....Why? WHO KNOWS?!?! Tengen planned on releasing this game for play on the Nintendo Entertainment System probably set for the year 1991. Surprisingly, 2 prototypes have been discovered of this game. One was found in a pawn shop and purchased for a mere $5!!! You can read the whole story by clicking HERE. That particular one also came with an Intellevision cart as well! The other? Well, it was auctioned off on ebay for $740!. The seller sure was a jerk to me. He gave me absolutely NO information on the game itself or where he got it. I would never do business with him.
Here is a pic of the Airball auctioned off on eBay and here is a pic of the Airball that was found at a pawn shop.
Apparently, this game is a wizard, puzzle-like game that was released on the Amiga and Atari. It's amazing where people find things like these. I've heard protos and other rarites being found from dumpsters to pawn shops. You never know where one of these will pop up. How does one of these games get in a pawn shop??? I mean, a prototype that a company worked hard on is now being sold by a fat guy, drinking flat coke at Cash America for $5?!?! If I saw something like that for $5, I'd probably drop dead from shock. I'd wake up just in time to see some 10-year-old kid walking away with it. NOOOO!!!!
Well, I think that the one on the right was the better deal for obvious reasons :) So, depending upon where you find it, if you do, history tells us that it will cost you between $5-$740. If anyone else has this game, let me know. So now there are at least 2 copies of the unreleased game Airball. If you know of any other ones that exist out there, drop me a line. Any and all information about the cartridge or the game itself is appreciated.
