The first in the series sparked one heck of a fire. One today can even go back and play it with equal enjoyment as any other current game. This game proves that graphics don't make a game. The puzzles were ingenious and anyone could tell that a lot of effort went into making this game. Who was the lead designer? Cmon', everyone knows Shigeru Miyamoto! What would Nintendo have done without him?

The Legend of Zelda provides a large world to explore with many secrets to discover. Burn and attempt to move everything! You never know what will turn up. =)

Grey or Gold?
The Legend of Zelda was also available in 2 different cartridge colors in America; gold and grey. There is no difference in the actual game. The gold cartridge was just a marketing scheme that attempted to sell more carts. Not a bad idea, because now they are quite nostalgic. With the release of The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, Nintendo offered a limited edition gold cartridge! For most classic gamers, this was a dream come true. Of course, many thanks must go to the people who emailed Nintendo demanding the GOLD!
This game complete will generally cost you between $10-$15. This game is very common and I don't think you should have any trouble finding it. :)
