Radiation
07/13/09 at 09:06:55

I have recently inherited a fossil collection. My neighbor commented to me that fossil can produce a dagerous level of radiation. I have these fossils in my house. Is this safe? What is the best method for measuring and determining the radiation levels? Thanks!

I agree. There is no more radiation in a fossil than in any other common rock; most likely less.  Show us some pics!   Cheesy

When I get them all unpacked and identified, I will add pictures. Thanks for the info!
